Position Wanted

Ana Lucia Toro

I will graduate from the University of Florida in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition and with a minor in Packaging Science. I am currently seeking a full-time position to best employ my food science and packaging knowledge along with my skills to achieve the company’s goals. Throughout my college career I have had many valuable and unique experiences. In the summer of 2011, I had the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of scientists in the Research and Development department in Chiquita Brands International. In addition, my part-time job as a lab assistant at UF’s Taste Panel allowed me to recognize the significance of proper sanitation, product appearance and presentation, and sensory analysis for consumer acceptance. This and other positions held have increased my ability to be a team player, exercise leadership, and gain problem-solving skills. Additionally, I am fluent in Spanish, proficient in French, Microsoft Office, and other software.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my background and skills will benefit your company and am available to interview at any time. If you have any questions, please contact me at (386) 365-0593 or by e-mail at anatoroalfaro@gmail.com.
