SFIFT is one of 51 Regional Sections of the 21,000-member Institute of Food Technologists, a non-profit, professional, educational association that promotes the application of science and engineering to the creation, production, processing, packaging, distribution, and utilization of food products. We are starting 2008 with more than 100 members who live in the area from Merritt Island south. The section meets at least four times a year for an evening of networking, fellowship, and gourmet dining. OPUS International, Inc., is SFIFT's contact office.
