The South Florida Section is one of 53 regional sections of the Institute of Food Technologists.

Founded in 1939, the Institute of Food Technologists is a nonprofit scientific society with members working in food science and related disciplines.  For more than 70 years, we have been unlocking the potential of the food science community by creating a dynamic global forum where food professionals - from all disciplines and from more than 100 countries - can interact, exchange knowledge, learn, and grow.
